

Tour Description: Take a spine-tingling stroll into the Great Smoky Mountains for an evening of ghosts, legends, and folklore. The Smokys are known for their pitch-black nights, ghostly shadows, and nocturnal creatures.
Visit abandoned tunnels, haunted graveyards, and the ruins of settlements long forgotten. Tales of murder and mayhem may frighten the faint of heart. Hear the accounts of those whose lives live on only in legend. Listen closely to the stories of mysterious events that have been handed down generation after generation, living on through local folklore. Tours depart as the forest blackens. Don’t miss this frightening visit into the unknown.
Ghosts, Legends, and Folklore: The Smokys are filled with the legends of Native American heroes, mysterious tales of things that go bump in the night, and local stories of myths and old wives' tales. Some are mysterious, others frightening, but all are entertaining. Take a walk into the unknown. Dark tunnels await just around the bend. The souls of those laid to rest in the wilderness are lurking in the shadows. Legendary creatures reside in the myths created among the 500,000 acres of wilderness before you. The woods are a very different place after dark. Don’t forget to bring your goose bumps!
COST: $36 for each adult. $22 for each child (10 years of age and younger).

RESERVATIONS: All of our tours require advance reservations. Typically, reservations for our morning tours must be made the previous day. Same day reservations for afternoon tours can be made up to two hours prior to the tour time.

Other electronics such as IPODs, cellular phones, and other electronics that disrupt the tours are not allowed.
Any participant whose actions disrupt the tour will be removed from the trip without a refund.
WHAT TO BRING: You should bring enough bottled water for each member of your party, 1 quart of water per person is usually sufficient. Guides carry a water filtration system to refill your bottles with fresh water along the way. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are recommended on all tours, and they are essential on our high elevation hikes. A small backpack to carry your belongings is handy. Bring any medications or prescriptions that may be needed during the duration of the tour. If someone in your party is allergic to bee stings you must bring their epi pen.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Do not bring expensive electronics, tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, firearms, or illegal drugs.
